Hello Winograd Students and Families!

Welcome to a new school year at Harold S. Winograd School.  It’s amazing to think of the amazing history this school has in its 20 years of existence! The school community has always shown tremendous spirit through both the celebrations and the challenges. I am looking forward to an extraordinary year with you all as your new principal at Winograd. We will continue the great traditions Winograd already celebrates, while looking forward to new goals together as a system!

I would like to welcome both new and returning students and families to Winograd. If you are new to Harold S. Winograd K-8 School, we welcome you and will strive to provide the best educational experiences possible for your child(ren).  As our school’s mission states, we expect ALL students to achieve at high levels and celebrate the joy of learning.

We will hold true to the commitment to and the implementation of our mission, vision, and commitments.  In addition, the CUBS will continue to model COURAGE door-to-door as we add new students and families to our school.  Our school is a welcoming place for all students and their families.  Whether formally or informally, parents are encouraged to get involved.  

This handbook provides information specific to Winograd as a supplement to the Greeley Evans School District Six’s Parent and Student Handbook.  Please read the district handbook and this supplement and discuss the contents with your child.  Together we can make a difference for all of our students.
