Attendance

Who should I call if my child will be late or absent? 

Please contact the school office at 970-348-2600 if your child will be late for school or absent. If you call before or after school hours, leave your name, your child’s name, his/her teacher’s name, and the reason your child cannot be at school.  If your child will come to school late, include what time he or she will arrive.  When your child returns to school after an absence, please send a note explaining the reason for the absence.

Winograd's Office Hours are from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Excusing Students from School

The release of students from classes, during school hours, is not granted unless the parent/guardian comes to the school office for the child. Students may not be dismissed form the classroom. Only adults whose names appear on the database may take a child out of school.
