Educator Appreciation Days

Honorary proclamation from the Board of Education recognizing Educator Appreciation Days!

A well-educated public is essential to the preservation of our national freedom and our democratic system of government. The people of the United States have recognized that free access to a public education for all children is a vital component of a strong and vibrant county.

The Board of Education recognizes and honors the important impact that teachers and staff have on our children's education. A rich and well-rounded education includes curriculum, instruction, and support for the physical health and well-being of our children.

Children's education and the success of their schools is also dependent upon exceptional and dedicated leadership at the school and district level. It is appropriate that teachers, staff, and educational leaders be publicly recognized for their dedication and commitment to educating and supporting all students.

The Board of Education of Greeley-Evans School District 6 proclaims the following national recognition dates to be celebrated and recognized in our local schools and communities of Greeley and Evans, Colorado, during the Spring of 2026:

  • Assistant Principals Week: April 6-10, 2026
