I am honored to have been teaching 32 years this year! I started out teaching middle school band, jazz band and choir then moved to high school marching band, concert band, jazz band, orchestra and choir! I have taught elementary general music and one of my K-8 choirs had 82 students in it! SUPER FUN! I have traveled to many different countries and helped conduct an International Choir Music Festival with John Rutter, Sir David Willcocks and Johnathan Willcocks! I have also been lucky enough to conduct and teach with musicians from Panic at the Disco and Blue Man Group! I am currently teaching Winograd K-8 school, teaching Music and Movement, band and jazz band. I just got married in January and love living in Windsor with my 2 dogs, Hope and Grace and my cat Tippy! Looking forward to many musical moments here at Winograd K-8!

Helena Fischer
Hello! My name is Chaeli Fischer and I am so glad to be a part of the Winograd community. This is my 8th year at Winograd, and I have loved every minute of teaching the CUBS and helping your child grow into a wonderful musician and person. I went to UNC for both my bachelor of arts degree where I studied violin and environmental studies, as well as my masters degree, where I studied more music and music education. I fell in love with teaching music and knew it was where I was meant to be! I am active in the performing arts around northern Colorado and also play violin in a string quartet. I enjoy the Colorado outdoors, board games with family and friends, and entertaining my Boston Terrier, Mocha. I absolutely love teaching orchestra so that I may share my passion for music with everyone!
I currently teach elementary general music to grades K, 1, 2, and 3, 4 and 5, middle school orchestra, choir, and Mariachi Ositos! I’m so glad to be in such a fun school community who supports music!
